Join us as we transform Charter Square into a magical underwater world on Saturday 22nd June between 11am - 3pm for a day of deep sea adventures.

A 60ft life-sized, inflatable whale will wash up on Charters Square’s shore and invite the bravest of shoppers to climb inside for The Pirate’s Misadventure, a treasure tale told by a shipwrecked pirate of a real live mermaid with an intriguing secret!

Whale story telling times, each session can fit 45 brave souls into The Whales belly!:

11.00-11.30 (30 min show inside)

11.30-12.00 (30 min show)

(Break 12.00-1.00)

1.00 - 1.30 (30 min show)

1.30-2.00 (30 min show)

(Break 2.00-3.00)

3.00-3.30 (30 min show)

3.30-4.00 (30 min show)

Children will then sail off to the arts and crafts area where they will take part in an eco-friendly craft workshop where they will make their very own sea turtles from recycled plastic bottles they have bought along to the event.

Come and say hello to clownfish Nemo and royal blue tang Dory. The meet and greet sessions will take place at 40 minute intervals throughout the day - at the following times: 11am, 12pm, 1pm, 2pm and 3pm.
