VE Day - How to celebrate

DATE PUBLISHED: 07/05/2020

A silent minute to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of VE Day. To honour the Generation who shaped the future.

Friday 8th May is the 75th Anniversary of VE Day. The day where world war II in Europe came to an end. We will be joining the rest of the UK, in holding a two minute’s silence to honour the entire World War two generation, whose service, sacrifice and determination ended the war in Europe victoriously. In these difficult times it is important that we unite in recognition of service to our nation, just as those communities did 75 years ago. Please join us at 11am in two minutes of silent reflection.
