Let’s talk BYRON. Whether you’re already a Byron fan (like us!) or if you’ve never been to Byron (you are seriously missing out..) you need to keep reading, because we’re talking all things burgers, fries, milkshakes and more; it’s enough to make your mouth water.
This is where it all STARTED…
The MENU, because a burger is ALWAYS a good idea, right?
Burgers, burgers and more burgers. From Classic Burgers, Skinny burgers, to Vegan Burgers there is a burger for every taste bud out there; honestly, you will be spoilt for choice. We were in our element but took a little while to choose, because it was the most important decision we were going to make all day, right?
MILKSHAKES. O M G, Milkshakes. Byron’s super thick and creamy Milkshakes are ONE. OF. A. KIND. With 7 flavours to choose from, be sure to make the right decision (not that you can go wrong). Oreo and the NEW Mississippi Shake were clear winners for us.
Here’s a little FACT of the DAY: Mississippi is one of 21 states to have milk as its state beverage. That’s why the new extra thick milkshake with cookie dough, vanilla ice cream and HOMEMADE brownie pieces is dubbed the ‘Mississippi Shake’. That, and the ‘Harlem Shake’ was already copyrighted.
Kick things off with a BANG because you can’t take a trip to Byron without being tempted by the STARTERS (well, we can’t take a trip to any restaurant without ordering a starter but shh)! Think small plates of deliciousness, made for you to sit, share and crack on with while your main is freshly cooked up. Battered, breaded, glazed and guaced all in-house, then served as soon as it’s ready. Soul food never tasted so fresh.
We decided to spice it up a little with the NEW Stacked Nachos, perfect for sharing, if you want to, that is. We’re not here to make your tummy rumble but just imagine - tortilla chips with pulled BBQ beef brisket, Cheddar, Byron cheese sauce, green chillies, sour cream, sriracha, smoked chilli BBQ sauce, spring onions, crispy onions, are you hungry yet? We are.
You can’t go to Bryon without ordering the famous Halloumi Fries with smoked chilli BBQ sauce, of course we shared these, or did we…
The MAIN, the BURGERS.
We heard that the latest and greatest burger is the ‘Reuben’, so we thought we’d review it for you, because we’re nice like that - tough job, isn’t it?
The NEW Reuben burger (recommended by the waiter to be cooked medium, pink and juicy) is absolutely PACKED with pulled BBQ beef brisket, sauerkraut pickle relish, mustard mayonnaise, American mustard, beer onions, bacon & onion crumb, lettuce with Byron Cheese sauce on the side, to say it was a little bit messy might be an understatement but it was SO worth it.

Of course Courgette and Sweet Potato fries were a must have to accompany this beast because, a burger without fries? That’s like Bert without Ernie; Kim without Kanye. If you’re OK with sharing, Byron recommend getting a few. If you’re not then load up and dig in.
By now, you might be starting to feel a little full but don’t be defeated, it’s DESSERT time. Take a 5 minute break and then order yourself an OREO FREAKSHAKE, because you need to have the full Byron experience and this is the only way to do it - but don’t take our word for it.
