arc’s new public venue will offer a year-round programme with something for everyone. With a capacity for 500 raked seats, or 1,000 people standing, events will also be able to spill out into the public space and create a real sense of occasion.
Bands, dinner dances, craft shows, exhibitions – the venue will be an exciting new draw for the people of Bury St Edmunds. It is also an example of the sustainable building methods being employed for this development. Its heating and cooling will use geo thermal borehole technology, while all timber used in the build is being specified and obtained from sustainable sources.
