arc gives Bury St Edmunds a new heart – easy to get to, exciting to shop at, a place to meet, eat, relax, and be entertained.
Inviting car-free streets, and vibrant new public spaces are integrated with the existing town centre, linking the traditional shopping area, and the ring road (Parkway). The town’s biggest car park is also included, so the affluent catchment population have easy access.
This £100 million scheme is designed by Hopkins Architects, a world-class architectural innovator. It will use quality materials, many sustainable building methods, and designs that enhance and interpret the town’s traditional features.
